Procedural Services

Our team is trained and has expertise with a variety of swine-specific and translational surgical procedures in addition to blood collection, CSF collection, and IV infusions. We welcome collaborative efforts and training on new procedures and protocols.

All animal procedures are approved by the Animal Care and Use Committee (ACUC), with high levels of animal care aided by three distinct groups: The Office of Animal Resources (OAR), the Animal Care and Use Committee (ACUC) and the Animal Care and Quality Assurance office (ACQA). Each has a specific role to ensure animal research is conducted safely and humanely.
